All my life as a writer of both prose pieces and now over 700 song lyrics, I have been inspired by the shining glimpses of miracles in the moments—breakthroughs of eternity into the ordinary, regular routine of my day. With each such discovery, I have learned better how to recognize the insights and beauty all around me. These, I came to believe, were love letters from God written in surprising places and spoken in everyday sounds, tastes, textures, and sights. Learning to notice these gifts in the moment is teaching me in turn to be more grateful and more alive. I hope you will find something in sharing my discoveries that will catch your eye to find some love letters of your own. This blog is my attempt to say, “Yes, I heard You; I saw that!” They are my own letter back, my “love song to my life.”
